Security Message for U.S. Citizens: Military Training Exercises

The Congolese Military will be conducting training exercises within Brazzaville on February 17 and 18.  During this time you may hear noises, such as explosions and gunfire, which are common during military exercises.  This is a planned training evolution and there is no reason for concern. Contact the duty officer if you have further concerns (05-526-3533).
