On this occasion, we reaffirm our commitment to working to promote regional stability, global health, maritime security, and climate change. The Congo Basin Forest and its peatlands are critical to the future of our planet, and the United States remains committed to working together with the Republic of the Congo to preserve this critical ecosystem.
