The Government of the Republic of the Congo joined 31 other coastal Atlantic countries in adopting the Declaration on Atlantic Cooperation

The Government of the Republic of the Congo joined thirty-one other coastal Atlantic countries across four continents yesterday in adopting the Declaration on Atlantic Cooperation and launching the Partnership for Atlantic Cooperation.  Republic of the Congo Foreign Minister Jean-Claude Gakosso joined senior officials from the other nations in the ministerial meeting on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.  This new multilateral forum brings together an unprecedented number of coastal Atlantic countries across Africa, Europe, North America, South America, and the Caribbean.
