On July 8, 2016, Ambassador Stephanie Sullivan met with and congratulated the first ever all-women cohort of Congolese law enforcement officers who participated in the capacity building training at the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) in Gaborone, Botswana, in June 2016. The training focused on the leadership of women in law enforcement. The training was funded by the U.S. government and instructors were from the Federal Law Enforcement  Training Centers.
